Epigenetic Potential 

Epigenetic potential refers to the capacity of cells, tissues, or organisms to alter gene expression patterns without changing the underlying DNA sequence. This potential is driven by reversible molecular modifications such as DNA methylation, histone modification, chromatin remodeling, and non-coding RNA regulation. It provides a mechanism for cellular plasticity, developmental programming, environmental adaptation, and disease susceptibility.
